Corporate Quiz GameBrain Frolic the Quiz Game for Conferences
Every conference wants to have a session that brings both fun and learning where everyone gets involved. Brain Frolic is good fun, fast moving, involving two teams and the audience in a game of reflex and pop culture. Part of the game revolves around the topic and theme of the meeting or conference. You can even name your own quiz game. The Dietitians Association of Australia called their game Quizine, while the Australian General Practice Network called theirs DocWiz. A small snippet from the DocWiz session can be found here .... We devise 8-10 rounds of questions with your help. Some rounds can be to test the knowledge of your delegates about a new product or worksite program or something specific to your group. Other rounds will be on pop culture, recent media stories, movies and other aspects of general knowledge. The rounds can involve music, mime, singing and buzzer rounds. Although there are two teams of three on stage, everyone in the audience is involved and they help to answer questions. The quizmaster will often give bonus points for innovation and enthusiasm. What will you need to do? Very little actually. You will need two team captains and they can choose two other team members. You will also need to provide background information or questions on any aspect you would like included in the quiz show. We will help you with this well before the event. In addition you might want to have: Spot prizes for audience members Corporate sponsorship to provide pens, t-shirts and prizes Scorers and some extra helpers depending upon the size of the audience AV assistance for conferences A fun-loving audience We provide: The quizmaster The questions, music and structure of the show A briefing for the team captains and AV people Depending on the purpose and event, the quiz show will go for 45-75 minutes. It is a great lead into the conference dinner.
